The heart of any direct selling company is its field. Your associates are doing boots-on-the-ground work to sell your product, meeting with their friends and family, hosting parties, promoting on social media and much more. There can be many thousands of them selling for a single company. What could go wrong? It turns out, a lot. FTC Sends Warning Letters to Influencers Regarding Improper Social Posts

The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) has issued warning letters to a pair of trade associations and at least a dozen influencers regarding improper social media posts. Notably, each letter also included the FTC’s notice of penalty offenses concerning misleading endorsements.
